Acer 15.6" Aspire V Nitro Notebook

The new Nitro has to connect to the success of its Skylake predecessor. Although it has more gaming power for this, it is not enough for a Very Good rating. Where is the shortcoming?

  quiet during normal use, matte, high-contrast IPS screen, gaming suitable up to Full HD, very good speaker sound, outstanding microphone, very good input devices, backlit keyboard, temperatures and performance, USB Type-C 3.1 with Thunderbolt 3, user-friendly maintenance

  slow HDD (version), useless webcam quality, hinges/lid somewhat unstable, loud during permanent load & gaming, only two RAM slots (filled)

This is not an ultra-portable laptop that you can toss in your bag without the power cable and expect to use all day. But as a portable gaming laptop, it's excellent. Great power, without the back-breaking mass of larger "portable" gaming systems.

  - As others have mentioned, the screen has an enormous bezel, which makes it a lot wider and harder to fit into bags.

Solidly built, with great performance. The laptop battery life is average, but I bought the laptop for performance not battery life. Display is fantastic. I like the red glow of the keyboard.

this is the best laptop by far! best for gaming and not to mention the speed it can do tings! Highly recommend this laptop! Best and worth it at the same time! :) ITS REALLY GOOD. BUY IT!!
