ASUS VE198TL 19" Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Monitor

Good monitor and can't complain about the price. Four stars because the picture is noticeably pixelated, but that's fine since I'm just using the screen for text. Still, I wouldn't recommend it for video. Can't say if the speakers are any good or not as I have no need to use them.

Hooks up very easily. I use it for writing/research - so mostly just having extra documents open while writing and taking notes. Nice screen - though after having a retina screen, it's hard to get used to even this relatively descent resolution. The size fits my needs perfectly.

My wife loves it, but in the vertical rotation I find the viewing angles lacking. It's a lot brighter and clearer than her old ASUS monitor though.

Great monitor to use as a vertical monitor for programming. I use this monitor with my macbook pro (on a stand) for developing software. It's great.

Not many smaller 16:10 monitors available any more, this one fit my space perfectly and is a great quality.

I hate this monitor. The controls are totally non-intuitive and frustrating. Last night I had sound. Today I do not, probably because I pushed some button in the course of removing the plastic around the edge of the monitor.

Good replacement monitor. Color great and easy to setup.
