The Asus ROG G752VT-DH72 is a big, powerful gaming laptop that's priced well relative to its features and performance. It's not the fastest system in the category, but it's affordable and lets you plays demanding games smoothly.

Well priced. Nice gaming-specific design features. Nvidia G-Sync for smoother 3D graphics. Varied port selection. Plenty of storage and a speedy solid-state boot drive.

Big and bulky. Small keyboard for such a large laptop. Anti-glare coating on display mutes images.
Silent beast. The latest revision in the signature G series takes a small step forward, though not the leap we were all hoping. We detail how the G752 is an improvement over the G751 and how competing models are starting to fly past the popular Asus G series.

low surface temperatures, low fan noise, great case quality, flashier aesthetic redesign, USB 3.1 Type-C Gen. 2 with Thunderbolt 3, good keyboard and touchpad, bright display with G-sync standard, 4x storage bays, easy access to M.2 SSDs, 2.5-inch bay, 2x SODIMM slots, great sound quality

-
no improvements to keyboard, touchpad, or case quality over previous generation, smaller capacity battery; shorter battery life, no support for RAID 0, difficult to access motherboard, non-upgradeable CPU and GPU, no graphics switching, large footprint; heavy, no VGA; crowded port placement
The Asus RoG G752VT is overall a top-notch gaming machine. It has the performance, the quality, and the kind of looks that will turn heads. It’ll help you keep your enemies close—but you’ll have to keep its power adapter closer.

Lavish design, Ample gaming performance, Solid keyboard, touch pad, Beautiful G-Sync display, Outstanding cooling

Brief battery life, Could use a larger SSD, Quiet speakers
The Asus G752 is the most dramatic design revision we’ve seen from the company’s gaming division in the last five years, and the results are mixed. The new silver-and-bronze scheme is unique, and will likely serve the company well in the future. Execution is the problem.
The Asus G752VT gaming laptop is the second system we've tested with a GeForce GTX 970M. Let's see how much value it offers against the competition.
ASUS keeps banging out laptops that support NVIDIA's buttery smooth G-Sync technology, this being our third one we've had in for a formal review. The G752VT-DH72 also brings Intel's Skylake architecture to the party, though compared to the G751JY-DB72 we recently evaluated, upgrading to a 6th...
Even if you’re willing to spend a large amount of money on your hobby to purchase something like the GX700 with its full GeForce GTX 980 and external water cooling, everyone has a limit as price to performance is always one of the most important focuses.

Fast hardware, Very good display, Good workmanship, Good surface temperatures

Low battery life, CPU is too hot
I have had home computers since 1975 and a Heath Kit H-89 computer and many more through the years and this Asus 17.3 G752VT is the finest computer ever. Fast, loaded and a great value.
Its important to note that some people have been reporting issues in regards to the keyboard not working, I ran into this issue. After spending some time with ASUS support I was about to file a RMA to have it services (shame since I just got the unit).

pros are as advertised, while a little big and bulky a good substitute for any desktop machine. I owned a ASUS g75vw before this module and I'm sure this wont be the last ASUS ROG I buy

None at the fault of the laptop.
I am writing this as someone that will use this laptop for occasional gaming, but mostly photo work because of its IPS display. The main problem is that the laptop will not utilize NVME drives from a fresh installation usb drive. ASUS is aware of this problem, but there have been no fixes as of yet.
I received this as a gift. It is by far the best laptop I have ever used. Highly recommend!
