Asus equips the G752VS with a 120 Hz panel including Nvidia's G-Sync support. The powerful hardware equipment manages smooth frame rates in all modern games.

+
matte IPS screen, G-Sync, NVMe-SSD + HDD, free M.2 slot, USB 3.1 Gen.2, low temperature development, moderate noise development
-
-
fans hard to access, clearly visible backlight bleeding
Thanks to Nvidia's latest Pascal-based graphics, the Asus ROG G752-XB78K laptop delivers desktop-level gaming performance.
-
+
Overclocked processor and graphics card deliver performance that rivals that of desktops. Plenty of ports. Lots of storage.
-
-
Heavy. Expensive. Keyboard flex is disappointing compared with that of predecessor.
The Asus G752 is the most dramatic design revision we’ve seen from the company’s gaming division in the last five years, and the results are mixed. The new silver-and-bronze scheme is unique, and will likely serve the company well in the future. Execution is the problem.

Awesome G-Sync display, Great keyboard and touchpad, Strong game performance, Cool, quiet operation
-
-
New design is inconsistent, CPU performance is the same as last year, Older model is a better value
The Asus G752VS OC Edition delivers some of the best performance available on the laptop market. The added processing power from the Intel Core i7-6820HK gives it a slight edge against other GTX 1070 laptops.

Build Quality, Performance

-
Price, Small SSD
The G752VS-XB72K model we reviewed was $2,499, putting it in a competitive pricing bracket with the now-previous-gen EVGA SC17, Alienware 17, and Acer Predator 17 models we have seen.
-
+
Outstanding gaming performance, with new GTX 1070, Beautiful G-Sync display, Solid keyboard and touch pad, Excellent cooling subsystem, with self-cleaning feature
-
-
Limited battery life, Speakers can't quite crank loud enough
If you were considering buying a laptop with a Nvidia 980 GPU, stop. Because the G752VS OC offers gaming performance 10 to 15 percent better than last-gen systems for hundreds less.
The biggest thing to happen to gaming laptops this year is the launch of Nvidia’s GeForce 10 series . Bringing performance parity with their desktop counterparts, Nvidia’s new graphics chips are a revolutionary step for mobile PC gaming that will allow laptops to be treated as first-class citizens...

The GTX 1070 is extremely fast, providing desktop-class gaming performance. Huge cooler is overclocking friendly. Very easy to upgrade RAM and storage. G-Sync (variable refresh rate) should be a must-have for gaming laptops.
-
-
Larger, uglier and slightly more expensive than its competitors. The 17.3-inch 1080p display doesn’t set any quality records.
Nvidia looks set to strengthen its already dominant position in high-end laptops with the launch of the GeForce GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 mobile GPUs. Carrying the same branding as their desktop counterparts and promising similar levels of performance, the trio of new additions are to become...

Delivers desktop-like performance, Multiple design wins on the horizon, Well-suited to 120Hz G-Sync at 1080p, Balanced, efficient architecture, Good overclocking potential

Expect a significant price premium, G-Sync and Optimus remain incompatible
The ASUS ROG G752VS certainly is an impressive notebook. With the new Pascal GPUs from NVIDIA, gaming notebooks can finally claim to have the equivalent performance to desktops, though obviously you’ll still be paying a premium for the privilage of enjoying “mobile” gaming.
We are deeply impressed by the Asus ROG G752VS . Asus has used an impressive chassis that was employed with 9-series graphics and has performed a significant upgrade to 10-series Pascal that blows the doors off the previous model.

Overclocked GTX 1070 graphics, Full HD IPS screen with G-Sync, 512GB NVMe SSD, Intel Skylake Core i7, Useful suite of Asus software, Clever cooling system for CPU and GPU, Lovely copper styling

This is a heavy laptop that weighs in at more than 4kg, Keyboard is uninspiring, There is a certain amount of bloat in the software
While this system has great specs, I just kind of expected more effort to be put into specific aspects of the laptop. The performance software and macro software leave a lot to be desired and the case design leaves a lot to be desired.
-
+
- The system specs just speak for themselves - No problems running regular games so far but the CPU is running a bit toasty. - GPU runs cool for how much i have stressed it
-
-
- The case used for this system seems to be the same as what you would get for laptops at half the price. I would be ok with it looking about the same if they actually fixed some of the downfalls of it. - The finish around the touch pad tends to look dirty pretty fast.
Seems like Asus was more intent on the design of the case than actual functionality. Front edge is so sharp that it hurts your wrists when typing on it. I had to go and buy some wrist pads to stick on the keyboard area so that the sharp edges did not cut into my arms.
-
+
Excellent PerformanceKeyboard is well spaced out and usableFast hard drives
-
-
Case has very sharp edges along the front which will leave red lines on your wrists.Screen colour even after calibration is not as good as my 4 year old Asus.
I thought this model had an SSD. I will put one in soon. I got a great deal on this system. ME price matched, so i was very pleased to get one of the last models in the city. I was going to get the newer 7700 chip but i went with the 6700 intel due to the fact that this system had the GTX1070.
-
+
Fast even w/o the M2 card.
-
-
Wish it had a SSD.
-
+
The PC is faster than fast. Although the bootup should be faster since it has an SSD. Graphics card is picture perfect. It feels very durable and the appearance is amazing.

When I recieved my pc I proceeded with the account creation, the normal updates, installing steam etc. I get everything updated and into my first game and the sound quality is horrible. Its crackling very bad. I cant make out any sounds.
It is well built machine, a little heavy for your lap, so use it on the coffee table instead... Functioning as expected - I ran a benchmark on the video yesterday and it is much faster than my 770 (FPS 42.8) or my 1070 (FPS 72.7) I'm pleased with the purchase, and will continue to be an ASUS fan -...

M.2 drive is FAST!RAM is FAST!Win 10, works OKSystem startup in seconds...!Keyboard backlight is NICEVideo playback is smooth (mkv, DVD etc)
-
-
No BD drive, only DVDI just wish the BIOS was as "nice looking" as on my Z87-A tower.
Does anyone else have troubles typing on the keyboard without the tou0hpad getting hit? I know you are able to disable it, but windows is supposed to have an option software wise where the keyboard gets lo0ked out while you are typing. I 0annot seem to get this to work.

The performan0e on this laptop is great! It runs everything very well. V
