AKG K 141 MK II Professional Semi-Open Supraaural Stereo Headphones

I am having the MKI version now since 35 years (yes, thirty five). There was a time where I treated these phones with no care and abused those e.g. on a guitar amp (with a clipping level volume).

Bought these to replace my Mk1 K141's disappointed to see that they didn't come with a 6.3mm adaptor.

I have used these headphones for about 4 years at this time. Build Quality: 10/10 -After such a long time using them, taking them to school in a rucksack and generally not being very nice to them, the headphones have taken it all in their stride. These things are built like a tanks.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM NEVER ---I'M NOT SURE HOW ORIGINAL IS THIS ITEM , THE WORST SOUND EVER IN MY LIFE.MY CRAPPY PHILIPS IS WAY BETHER FROM THIS .....I JUST RETURN THIS AFTER ONE NIGHT ...EVEN NO STAR FOR THIS ..I HATE IT

Bought as a gift, the person absolutely love the quality of the sound and the quality of the headphones. Well worth the money!

I am one of those annoying people who listen to music constantly. Be it around the house or on my commute to work. I go through headphones more than I do shoes! So I am very impressed that these headphones have lasted so long. It has been a year, and still going strong.

Love the sound quality. The only reason it is not five star is because it is a bit plasticy. Also the wire is a bit too long. Aside from that, GREAT HEADPHONES

These are very impressive cans out the box. Nicely balanced with a neutral to very slightly warmer sound. Best I can describe it is rich and full bodied. They have so far sounded great with anything I play, not like the Grado SR80 which can sound fatiguing with some or even any music after a while.

Having got them out of the box I first compared them on my mobile phone with the AKG K420's i have and at first was disappointed as they were much quieter than the 420's even with a headphone amp. I then tried them in my laptop with the headphone amp and they were pretty good.

Just received my headphones in very short time (3 days from placing order) Sound quality is superb, I already had the old version of this new model for fifteen years but they were not suitable for the new LCD TV I have just bought because of the high impedance (600 Ohms).
