The AKG K712 PRO is the flagship studio model from the popular headphone manufacturer. Ideal for those looking to mix and master, or simply enough music with a new level of sophistication.
Personally, I’d recommend this headphone to anyone looking for tons of detail in a neutral profile – a perfect sound for classical music, or for more serious monitoring requirements.
The AKG K712 PRO deliver a great sound for critical listening. They're super comfortable headphones with a few more accessories than th...
Love these headphones, I wear phones for hours at a time and the comfort level is fantastic. My only disappointment is that AKG only offers the coil cord for replacement. I love the orange straight cord but due to so many hours of hard use it bit the dust.
If you are looking for the ultimate perfection of sound look no further! This pair of headphones does the job, and can deliver astounding quality! They are compatible with iPods, and other gadgets.
I absolutely love these headphones, they're phenomenal. BUT, for comfort, for your next K series headphone PLEASE make the earpads a little bit thicker while using the same materials. This way people's ears wont touch the driver! That way it would be a perfect headphone!
These headphones are easily the best I have ever used. They aren't cheap, but you can find decent sales on them at various places. They are clear, have a great sound stage, they are comfortable. The bass in them is nice and full/punchy.
Bought for an open air, expansive sound and wasn't disappointed. One of my most comfortable headphones (out of 12 sets). Love the colorway. I custom made a shorter cable, about 4'.
Excellent balanced sound & clarity across the spectrum, great resolution and soundstage, extremely comfortable.
The outstanding feature to these headphones is the comfort when used for long listening sessions. The sound is good, pleasant and listenable, if not as precise or detailed as a pair of Stax I own. There is a bit of warmth in the lower registers, this isn't ideal on some female vocals, but jazz and...
These headphones are comfortable. They are very balanced and natural sounding.
No doubt about it, the K-712 is a real winner in my book. I’ve been using it a lot with online gaming and movies in general. Recently, a petition appeared in some online gaming communities to have me banned from playing on my favorite servers.

An exceptionally wide soundstage, right up there among the widest staging headphones., - A dynamic, energetic and exciting sound signature that never gets dull., - Very clean drivers with low THD+N means this headphone responds marvelously to EQ.

Upper midrange has an awkward peak which might induce fatigue after some time., - Build quality is predominantly plastic, which is a let down at this price point., - Earcups are oversized, might cause seal issues for many people.
These are great, and really has that open feel. I only wish I could carry them across every genre i work in. I do music for TV/Film, and although they are awesome sounding, going into bassier genres, I must rely on something else. Also, are these FLAT to mix from?
