Poor ear cup fit degrades ANC efficacy, The 3.5mm cable is very thin and risks breakage
During CES 2022, Shure debuted their new over-ear headphones AONIC 40. The slim and foldable headphones are designed to deliver studio-quality sound on the go. With more than 25 hours of battery life, ANC, and both wireless and wired connection options, the headphones are the ideal travel companion...
Shure Aonic 40 aims for their own big brother, and in some areas the cheaper model has the upper hand.

The app is not always stable, Not as comfortable on the ears as big brother, and spectacle users lose bass response.
These headphones are rather nice, well-padded for good noise reduction and for those follicly challenged like me good padding on the headband. They are not small as they are over ear offerings and are also useful on cold winter days as ear warmers and just for good measure the Shure App gives you...
For decades, Shure has cemented itself as a household name in consumer audio products. Earlier this year, they released the follow-up to their Aonic 50 headphones, the Aonic 40. The A40s run for $250, though are often on sale for $199, and promise to deliver “.
The $250 Shure AONIC 40 Wireless ANC Headphones are a steal. Should Sony and Bose be concerned. We think so.
Shure is back again with the AONIC 40, an over the ear, Wireless Noise Canceling Headphone. It is the younger sibling of the AONIC 50 that we reviewed a short time ago.

Noise cancellation mode affects audio and changes with head position
I bought these headphones initially for mixing in the studio but these headphones are great anywhere, whether I'm just listening to music from my phone via Bluetooth or plugged into my mixing console or laptop when I'm working on audio. The sound is amazing and so is the feel.
These are a solid set of headphones. They have a quality feel to them with aluminum parts. The controls work really well and they connect immediately. The app works great to change the sound and to change settings from outside microphone to normal to ANC. My only gripe is they are right on my head.

I've always been a fan of Shure products for the equality of the sound. It is absolutely essential to have a good solid reference point for mixing audio. I always know whatever I put into a Shure product is what I will get out.

I bought a pair of these for my girlfriend because she wanted something with noise cancellation for when she needs to work in noisier environments. At the sale price I couldn't pass up getting a set for myself. We got one white pair and one black.

I was very surprised with how good they sounded. I read all the reviews and heard great things about them, so I figured I'd give them a try (especially for in-flight use). From a sound quality standpoint, I thought everything in the mix was audible as intended, bass was present with definition but...
