The receiver itself is a quality piece of equipment. However, the users guide, online only, is pretty awful.There is entirely too little info on the functions of the remote, and what each button does and what they effect. It is up to the user to go to Yahoo and find info to help.

Great unit fair price

works as it is supposed to. was a breeze setting it up and it connects all my home theater components seamlessly

This is a huge step up from my old Yamaha that I bought around 2002. Having BlueTooth built in is awesome, but my phone doesn't automatically hook up to it. Maybe a setting in the phone. I have this hooked up to some Klipsch satellites and the combination works well for me.

Incredible sound. Love the features and the Dirac Live is out of this world.

I've had this receiver for about 6 months. The sound is excellent. My current setup is 5.1 in my main room, 2 speakers on my front porch (zone 2), and 2 speakers on my back deck (zone 3). The main issue is with the Bluetooth software.

Great product and Dirac Live is superb! OK, in all fairness, there is a serious learning curve with this receiver, Dirac Live and how to set it up, how to tweak it once setup, all the various app integration over the network etc. BUT, once you have managed to get through all that it is amazing!

Don't let the 4* fool you. This receiver is a really good receiver. For the price, it's missing some detail and features. Inputs can't be renamed, input assignment is limited, there's only one optical input and I still haven't gotten it to be useable for something other than TV audio out and I use...

  Lots and HDMI 2.1 inputs, great sound, automatically detection is great, setup is easy, automated eq setup is easy and 9 seating positions can be measured

The unit performs well and generally works as expected. The setup menu and remote are generally user friendly. 4k upscaling works beautifully. Build quality and sound punch above weight.
