One of the strengths of the SX-N30 is the number of ways the user can enjoy their music. Along with analog inputs for SACD/CD, TV, game, SAT/CBL, and DVD/BD, there is even a Phono (MM) input to connect a record player.

This is a nice receiver for the price. I used a pair of MartinLogin Motion 20 speakers in a 14 X 20 room. Mostly use my I pad with blue tooth. Very pleased.

Just amazing. I had to replace an old amp with the nicely made pioneer. The case is not weak like people are saying it is i have a 4 bay back up system and a 10 lb cat that sits on it all the time and the case is still straight. The sound its able to make is awesome.

As a Canadian it was still worth it to pay the duties on this receiver. At 60 years of age I have owned many receivers over the years and now own a 7.1 JVC (love) a 5.1 Marantz (love) and now this Pioneer.I waned an old school, easy to set up,great sounding powerhouse and this is it.Who cares about...

Best receiver I have ever owned since my Pioneer system I had back in the 80's. Still digging in but what I've done with it so far exceeds my expectations. Using a polk audio 12' sub with a set of Gemini 15" dj speakers and I must say even playing the mp3's from my hard drive I definitely am...

Just perfect for an audiophile who want proper power with convience of all hookups. Not for movies or starting a movie room. Just right for someone who wants to power speakers and use tactile audio product like a turntable or CD player a tape deck too but with hi res and internet capabilities.

First, I would just like to say that thanks to modern technology, we are able to enjoy great sound from such an affordable receiver as the Pioneer SX-N30. This unit is full of features (features that most of us can appreciate) and very easy to use on a daily basis.

I write this for customers who've owned multiple-component, high end audio systems for decades. Your amps and preamps are acting up. You've reached a stage where you'd prefer not to need a 70+ lb amp -- hard to move, to keep clean, etc.

I've had this receiver about 2 weeks now. So far it's been a great receiver. I bought this to replace a Yamaha 7.1 receiver that I've had for several years. I am not a big fan of movies and watch very few. So I decided to do away with my surround system and concentrate on music.

I like the fact that this is a true 80 watts per Channel receiver. The am and FM reception is great, getting all my favorite channels and then some. It can be used wirelessly and with ethernet and it's pure stereo no video.
