It felt like a long time ago since we last checked an Onkyo AV receiver and it is really a pity that they have been in such a turmoil the last few years. The TX-RZ50 clearly shows that Onkyo is still a very capable manufacturer and they can design products that can rival all other brands in the...
I recently purchased the Onkyo TX RZ50 and I am absolutely blown away by its phenomenal sound quality! This receiver delivers an audio experience that is nothing short of amazing. The clarity, depth, and richness of the sound make every movie, music, and gaming session truly immersive.

Outstanding sound quality, customizability, Dirac Live, user-friendly interface, high build quality, seamless integration, and networking capability.

Price, complex features for beginners, size and weight, limited smart home integration, and power consumption.
I bought this to replace a pioneer vsx 80 elite....im glad I did! It runs a 7.2.4 with ease...easy setup, the dirac works flawlessly. The unit was 110.00 cheaper than online.
I'm definitely satisfied and there's a big difference between my Onkyo. To 646 and the new RCZ50 it's like night and day I hear the surround better I hear the quality of music better and there's just so much richer and enjoyment of listening and that Dirac is so much fun to play with and I still...

I haven't found one yet maybe the not being able to adjust my dual subwoofer "but it not a noticeable difference yet I am still playing with it.
Not a 9.2 receiver have to run both subs off one port. None of the speaker setup are for 9.2. Seems to have good sound.
Mated the rz50 to 4 ohm Martin Logan motion 40's, motion 8 center. motion 2 sats, and sub in a 7.1 setup. Tv is LG C2. Ran ps5 and Apple TV 4K direct to the rz50 hdmi and the monitor out to the LG using 8k enhanced hdmi 2.1. MUST use high quality cables or quality will suffer.

About 11 months ago I replaced a 16 year-old Onkyo 7.1 receiver with a more modern Onkyo 7.2 TX-NR6100 to support Dolby Atmos. Well..., though I was happy with that receiver, I only recently decided to upgrade the cheapo speakers that came with the 16 year-old Onkyo and reposition speakers for a...

Wow! This thing is amazing! A giant step up from an older Yamaha 5.1 unit. It's currently powering a 5.1.2 setup, but will be adding more channels over time. The addition of Dirac Live provides for perfect room analysis and set up.

Easy to set up, clean and modern look, plenty of power, decodes nearly everything, multiple 2.1 HDMI inputs, Dirac Live, expandable to 11.2 with external amp,

Needs a lot of space for cooling, a bit larger than some units, doesn't display audio output type without pushing "info" button on remote, litterally nothing else
Replacing my Sony with this bad boy has really elevated all sounds with my klipsch set up . I love it

Let me start off by saying I looked into Denon, Onkyo, and Marantz for my new receiver which would replace my Sony DH series as it couldn't pass through 120hz signal. They all offered great features and all sounded good. Although I think the Marantz and Onkyo sound better than the Denon.

Only 1 Sub out signal (2 sub outputs but they both pass the same signal and this is the only reason I would buy the Marantz is for sub Outs, But I just run 1 sub so its ok)
The first one the video output stopped working after 15 minutes. Waiting for the replacement to arrive and will update my review.
