LG 24,500 BTU Window Air Conditioner - Energy Star

This air conditioner has done a great job for us this summer! Very quiet, keeps the rooms at the set temperature unless the outdoor temperature is excessively high - we are using it to cool a larger space than is recommended, but it has performed magnificently.

We had to replace the AC window unit in the church kitchen. When we put in the specifications of the existing unit, this one matched exactly and fit the insert exactly as the old one did. The installation was smooth and the kitchen is cool again. The old remote even works on the new unit!

I love the LG brand, it works great, the only draw back is the sound of the A/C is still somewhat loud but this might be my expectations aren't in the ballpark of reality. Having this rather large A/C working great at cooling and the remote working perfect, quiet may be unattainable for any A/C this...

Have had two used units in my wood shop over the years and wanted a new one this time. Looking forward to having this for many years instead of just a couple. I've got a two story shop and it took a couple days to bring both levels down to a cool temp, but now it is very comfortable on both levels.

Used this unit to replace a large in wall swamp cooler, the difference is night and day, it keeps the large space it's in much cooler and isn't subject to humid weather like the swamp cooler is, also we no longer have to turn off our only source of cool air when it's smokey outside, definitely...

EXPENSIVE UNIT. BOLTS THAT HOLD THE FAN IN PLACE JUST LAYING IN THE BOTTOM. THESE WERE NOT INSTALED AT THE FACTORY. HAD TO CUT A HOLE IN THE SIDE TO INSTALL BOLTS SO THE FAN MOTOR WOULD NOT FLOP AROUND AND RUB THE FAN SHROUD. WORKED GREAT AFTER ALL THAT.

Installed in my garage. Outer case had minor bang ups and was somewhat warped. Nothing that hindered its operation though. Works wonderfully well in my man cave garage.

My unit went out & I am a cancer survivor & heart patient on lots of meds that one of makes me sweat profusely.. I was so miserable trying to cook for my family when they visit.. now we argue about being too cold.. I couldn’t imagine.. it’s wonderful.. thank you..
